What our clients are saying:

"Not only have I always been satisfied with the service I have received from Nash & Co, so were my father and grandfather."

History of Nash & Co

The firm was founded in 1926 by David Foot Nash. It started as a small practice with Mr. Nash as the sole proprietor. David Nash was recognised generally as an excellent advocate and it was not long before his reputation grew and the firm along with it.

In 1938 the practice moved into larger premises at 12 Sussex Street and expanded rapidly after the Second World War with new partners, resulting in the unforgettable name of “Nash, Howett, Cocks and Clapp”.

In 1956 a branch office opened in Perranporth followed by others in Plympton, Ivybridge and Tavistock. As the partners gradually retired, new assistant solicitors and partners were taken on board and the firm changed its name to Nash & Co.

In the early 1990’s it was decided to relocate from Sussex Street and move everyone into one large building, Beaumont House. The listed Georgian mansion standing in attractive parkland setting with ample car parking facilities was the perfect environment for the growing law firm.
