Bridget Holness

Bridget is a native of Plymouth and returned to Devon to join the Family Team at Nash in August 2004. She qualified in 2001 and now works in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department dealing with a variety of Personal Client matters including wills and estate administration.

Lesley joined the firm in 1998 and was promoted to Associate in 2004 after Nash merged with another local firm. She has more than 25 years experience in private property work having specialized in domestic conveyancing, dealing with both freehold and leasehold properties. More >>
William Giles

William is the Partner in charge of the Family Team. He has been with the firm since May 1997, having qualified in December 1994. William has been a specialist family solicitor since he qualified. He is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel and Family Law Panel (advanced tier) which recognises his experience in dealing with divorcing couples and the related financial and children issues. Julie Thompson
Solicitor
Julie joined the firm in April 2006 and specializes in all aspects of child law including public childcare issues where families are involved with a local authority; adoption, contact, residence, parental responsibility issues and abduction. Julies is also a qualified nurse and specialized in the care of children on an acute burns unit before developing her career as a solicitor.
Michael Shiers

Michael joined the firm in 1993 and was made a Partner in 1996. He heads the Claimant Litigation department, dealing primarily with personal injury cases but he also undertakes general common law matters. He has been a member of the Law Society's Peronal Injury Specialist Panel since 1996 and is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. More >>
Karen Bussell

Arriving in Devon in 1982 to work as a commercial diver, Karen took up law after a varied career which included management, lecturing and journalism. She joined Nash in February 2002 and has a client base of both employers and employees. She is experienced in dealing with and settling employment disputes, advising on procedures and disciplinary matters as well as drafting agreements, contracts and staff policies.
