Areas of Specialism

Wills – These are not just about ensuring the government doesn’t inherit – it's a plan for the future; ensuring clients can make adequate provision for their loved ones. Tracey gives advice on inheritance tax mitigation and ensures that her clients benefit from making full use of all available allowances including nil rate band discretionary trust wills, business property relief and agricultural property relief – depending on individual circumstances.

Estate Administration – This involves dealing with all aspects of estate administration including submitting all relevant accounts to the Revenue for inheritance, income and capital gains tax. It includes paying out legacies and fulfilling any wishes incorporated in a will.

Lifetime Tax Planning – This is another area that is becoming more and more important. Giving advice on gifts that can be made during lifetime to mitigate inheritance tax that would be payable when someone dies. It also includes the setting up of trusts and how trusts can be used to assist with tax mitigation.

Enduring Power of Attorney – These are drawn up to appoint someone to deal with your affairs at a time when you may become incapable of taking care of your affairs or may decide you don’t want to be bothered, perhaps due to illness.
