Why choose Nash & Co Solicitors for your next role?

We’re a law firm that punches well above our weight. Our client list would be the envy of much larger firms nationwide. We work with a wide range of commercial law clients, including SME’s, co-operative societies, PLCs, household names, investors and high-net worth individuals across the UK. This means we’re able to offer our lawyers the opportunity to work on a breadth and depth of work that they wouldn’t typically get in bigger organisations. We also have a thriving personal law department, representing individuals and families of all sizes: covering family law, residential conveyancing, wills, probate, personal injury and medical negligence, we’re one of the leading law firms in Plymouth.

Our people

Each person who works here is integral to our success as a firm. That might be a very cliché thing to say, but in our case it’s true!

The work

The common thread that runs through all of our work is that we always go above and beyond for our clients. It’s imperative that we get to know and understand our clients, so that we can help them move forwards.

Every single person is critical to the success of the firm. The quality of our people helps us to deliver the best solutions for our clients. This is a key reason why we attract high calibre clients and clients continue to come back to us which, of course, is core to the strength and success of the firm.

We know that everyone wants different things for their careers, so we don’t have a one size fits all approach. We will listen to your career aspirations and work with you, through training and mentoring, to help you fulfil your ambitions.

Training and career development

Nash & Co Solicitors has made a commitment to significantly reduce the impact that we have on the environment. Our goal is to be Carbon Neutral by December 31st 2025. Along with reporting on our carbon footprint, we have implemented a raft of positive changes across the firm. We also work closely with a number of charities and community groups to do what we can to help address the climate emergency.

Environmental Responsibility

“I’ve worked in modern office parks and in city centre blocks and had that feeling of just ‘existing’. From my office window, I look out to an Elizabethan harbour and then onwards to the sea. I will never take for granted having a great quality of work and working in an ambitious law firm, all whilst living by the sea and just fifteen minutes away from the expanse of Dartmoor and the Cornish coastline. Work life balance is an over-used phrase; however, at Nash & Co it really is bang on.”

We’re all about helping you to feel good, no matter what life throws at you.

It also provides a powerful message about us as a firm being a destination of choice. This allows us to recruit talented people, build the most effective teams, and deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

Plymouth Eve

The social side

We’re surrounded by great places to eat and drink, and there are plenty of opportunities to mix with colleagues including a drink or something to eat after work or at one of our own social events.

Our staff committee organises various events throughout the year including a BBQ in the summer, a Christmas party, office quiz nights and other social occasions. You are always welcome to get involved as much – or as little – as you would like.

The area

Without doubt, we live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We absolutely love it here!

Plymouth is currently undergoing over £1 billion worth of development work. The city’s growing. Housing developments are springing up all over the area – from suburban townhouses, to luxury flats overlooking the city’s marinas. Plymouth has never been more popular.
