Nash & Co raises nearly £10,000 for Will Aid

Category: News, Wills

We’ve just had the news that last year we raised £1,990 for Will Aid. This brings the total that we have raised for Will Aid to nearly £10,000 in recent years.

The scheme sees our expert lawyers in the Wills, Trust and Probate team writing Wills for free for clients. In return, the clients make a donation to Will Aid.

Alice Carter Tyler, one of the Lawyers who did the majority of the work was delighted with the news. “Raising money for such a fantastic cause is a great way to help people across the UK. It’s also of huge benefit to our clients  – to ensure that they have new and up to date Wills in place. This is often something that is overlooked and neglected. The work we have done means that we’re able to make a presentation to a very important group of charities to enable them to carry on their vital work with those who need it most.”

Money raised for Will Aid is given to none partner charities – ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF, Sightsavers and Trocaire. Peter de Vena Franks, Campaign Director for Will Aid was delighted with the donation. “First of all, let me extend my heartfelt thanks for taking part in Will Aid. You and your colleagues raised an amazing £1,990. Added on to your previous fundraising, this means you’ve raised a huge £9,139  for our nine partner charities. That’s a lot of money. And it’s money that is helping here in the UK and around the world change their lives for the better.”

2018 is Will Aid’s 30th year of raising money for good causes.
