Personal Injury

If you suffer personal injury that was not your fault, we can help you to take fast legal action to recover.

“Nobody wants to be in a situation where personal injury is the focus, but the fact is that accidents happen as we travel, at our work and during holidays and pastimes and they have a broad range of impacts on physical and mental health as well as our ability to work and out general finances.”
Mike Shiers, Partner

What areas of Personal Injury do you cover?

Personal Injury is a term that covers a broad spectrum and at Nash & Co we help in all areas including accident claims, (including cycling accidents, motor vehicle accidents, accidents at work and while in the armed forces, accidents in public places or because of defective products, injuries while on holiday, and brain and spinal injuries)medical negligence (including misdiagnosis and fatal claims), and industrial disease (including claims relating to deafness, vibration, RSI and exposure to asbestos).

How does that affect me?

Compensation for an injury is the main focus for many, but there are other areas to consider such as lost income, medical treatment and fees as well as other expenses that are connected with the claim.

What should I do next?

Contact us and we will listen to the circumstances surrounding your injury and discuss the choices that you have – and the steps that need to be taken. It can be daunting for anyone, but we will handle everything for you at every step. Please contact Mike Shiers or one of the team on 01752 827025 or email [email protected]nash.co.uk

Personal Injury laws are based on the simple idea of fairness, where those suffering a loss through injury have the opportunity to receive compensation, so don’t be put off by what you may have heard in the media as this is often negative; the law informs us that its perfectly reasonable for everyone to seek a fair balance from a situation that has resulted in loss through injury. We are here to help you to gain that balance.

How much will it cost?

Personal Injury claims can be complicated, and finding your way through the various funding systems, including the “No Win – No Fee” system can be costly.

Nash & Co have a proven track record and we offer a free consultation service without obligation.

If you are able to fund the personal injury claim yourself, or you’re looking for a “No Win – No Fee” arrangement or you have an insurance for legal expenses, WE WILL be able to help you.

How do you pay?

Here at Nash & Co, we recognise that injured people will not have spare money to pay for legal fees. There are a number of funding options available to you, however, most of the work done for clients is under a “No Win – No Fee” agreement. You will have all of the options explained to you at the initial meeting including how the “No Win – No Fee” system works. We are confident that you will be impressed with how this works, but if you aren’t then there is no pressure for you to sign up with us, and you will not be charged for the initial meeting.
