Chartered Legal Executive
Personal Injury Team

I joined Nash & Co in July 1999 as a paralegal dealing with Claimant personal injury claims.  After working at Nash for only a couple of months I was asked to consider whether I would like to further my career by studying to become a Chartered Legal Executive.  Nash & Co have been very supportive through my training and progression.

As a mature student it is difficult to find time to study via distant learning, work full time, and run a busy home.  During the various topics I have had to study, employees within the firm have provided invaluable help, answering many varying questions where I didn’t quite understand the topic I was studying.  This has included being given additional information through to qualified solicitors giving up their lunch hours to sit with me in an interview room and explain things as if I were the client, rather than trying to learn it from a text book.

I am pleased to say that with all the support I have received, I finally qualified as a  Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in July 2017.  Yes, it has taken me much longer than I expected but this is mostly due to personal circumstances and without the help and support of Nash & Co I think I would have probably given up.
